Saturday MorningThe Slow Morning
The week sprints. Saturday strolls. The two speeds are not in conflict — one funds the other, and the mind that never strolls eventually cannot sprint.
The Practice
This morning, do one thing with no purpose beyond itself — make coffee slowly, read something off-screen, walk without a destination. Let the pace drop below productive on purpose. Notice the relief in the body when nothing is being extracted from it. The fast track only stays fast because something this slow keeps repairing the rails.
