Finishing is a separate skill from starting, and it is the one a fast mind most often skips.

    The Practice

Take something at ninety percent and drive it to done today rather than starting anything new. List the exact remaining ten percent as small concrete steps, then do them in order without detour. When the urge for a fresh project flares — that bright, seductive pull — name it as avoidance and return to the list. The unglamorous last ten percent is where the value was hiding the whole time.
