    Daily Momentum

The middle of a hard task is not where you are failing — it is where the work stops performing for an audience and starts being real.

    The Practice

Today, return to the project that has gone quiet and dull and stay with it for one uninterrupted hour. Close every tab that is not the work itself; physically turn your phone face-down and slide it out of reach. When the urge to switch arrives — and it will arrive as a small tightness behind the eyes — name it out loud as 'the switch' and keep your hands on the keys. The aperture only opens for the mind that refuses the first exit.
