    Saturday Morning

    The Ledger Closed

The month does not ask whether you felt ready. It only records what you built while uncertain.

    The Practice

This morning, close January honestly: write what the ignition month actually produced — the habit that took, the work that shipped, the friction you engineered out. Be specific and unsentimental; a true ledger is the foundation the next month builds on. Then rest, properly, because the year is long and the engine is now warm and proven. You did not need to feel ready. You needed to begin, and the record shows you did.
