    Sunday Morning

    The Quiet Ledger

Gratitude is not a mood. It is an accounting — the deliberate act of crediting the accounts that fed you while you were not looking.

    The Practice

This morning, write down three things that quietly held your year together that you have never thanked: a routine, a place, a person who asked for nothing. Do not perform it; just name them on paper, slowly, one at a time. Notice how the body softens as you write — gratitude lands physically before it lands cognitively. This is the inheritance you carry into the new year, costed and acknowledged.
