    The Long Walk

Some problems do not yield to thinking. They yield to walking — to the body solving in motion what the mind could not solve at the desk.

    The Practice

Take a deliberate hour-long walk this morning with one open question in your mind and nothing in your ears. Do not force the answer; let the rhythm of your steps do the work the desk could not. The ND brain often unlocks under bilateral movement — left foot, right foot, the same mechanism that settles a racing system. Bring the question; let the pavement keep it.
