Saturday MorningThe Unpacking
The slowest morning of the season is the one that decides whether the season holds.
The Practice
This morning, do not plan September. Instead, physically unpack one thing the summer left in a heap — a bag, a drawer, a folder of half-read tabs. Move slowly, one item at a time, hands before head. Restoring order to a small physical space tells the nervous system the ground is steady again, and the calm of that one cleared surface will outlast the morning.
