    The Last Cooling

Before you celebrate the finish, let the body register that it survived the heat. The distance is not real to the nervous system until you slow down enough to feel that you made it.

    The Practice

This morning, take deliberate time to acknowledge the month physically — a long bath, a slow walk, a real meal eaten without a screen. Let the body come down from sustained load before you load it again. Founders skip this and call it discipline; it is actually how reserves get depleted across months until they break. Recovery is not the opposite of ambition. It is the part of the engine that lets ambition continue.
