    The Practice

    Today, close three open loops completely rather than advancing ten partway. Pick the smallest finishable items and take each fully to done — sent, shipped, decided. The brain under a long load accumulates a low hum of unfinished things that drains attention silently; each true closing lifts a measurable weight off working memory. Watch how much lighter the desk feels after three real finishes. Closing is the muscle of the final stretch.
