Daily MomentumThe strategy memo is where the company thinks. Skip it for long enough and you will be busy in every direction except forward.
The Practice
Spend ninety minutes today writing the thinking that has no deadline and therefore never happens — the quarter-ahead view, the question behind the questions. Set a timer and treat the block as immovable as any meeting. Deep work has no external forcing function, which is exactly why it dies first under sustained pressure; you must build the forcing function yourself. The clock is the structure. Start it and write.
