Daily MomentumThe early days of a long effort feel easy, and that ease is the trap — momentum spent here is momentum unavailable at mile twenty.
The Practice
Today, deliberately leave fuel in the tank. When you feel the pull to push past your stopping point because the work is flowing, stop at the planned mark anyway and write down your next first move. Ending mid-flow with a clear re-entry point means tomorrow starts at speed instead of cold. Watch your body, not your enthusiasm — the urge to overspend early is exactly what the distance punishes.
