    Sunday Morning

    The Cooling

The body does its repair in the hours you are not watching it. Rest is not the reward for the distance — it is the part of the engine that makes the distance possible.

    The Practice

This morning, do nothing for the first thirty minutes you are awake — no screen, no plan, no input. Sit somewhere with natural light and let your nervous system register that nothing is being demanded of it. Notice where your body is holding tension: jaw, shoulders, the small of the back. The week ahead will draw on a reserve you can only fill now, in the quiet, before the heat returns.
