Monthly Super
The Distance
July tested whether you could start. August asks the only question that builds anything: can you hold the line when the heat does not break. Endurance is not the absence of fatigue — it is the architecture that keeps producing while fatigued.
The Practice
Today, before the month moves, define your August distance: one objective you will still be running on August 31, not abandoned by the second week. Write it on a single index card and add one line beneath it — the minimum daily contact you will make with it, even on collapsed days (one paragraph, one call, ten minutes). Tape the card to the inside of your laptop lid. Endurance is engineered by lowering the floor, not raising the ceiling — a track you can run tired is the only track that survives a month.
