Saturday MorningThe Cooldown
After the steep week, the body needs a descent, not a cliff. Come down deliberately or you will fall the rest of the way.
The Practice
Today, do one thing slowly and entirely for its own sake — cook a real meal, tend something living, make something with your hands and no purpose. Let your attention rest on texture and tempo rather than outcome. The hard week leaves a residue of urgency in the nervous system; deliberate, useless care is what dissolves it. Descend on purpose so Monday meets a rested engine.
