Saturday MorningThe Base Camp
Rest is not the opposite of the climb. It is the part of the climb where the body files what the week taught the hands.
The Practice
This morning, before any screen, walk for twenty minutes at a pace where you can breathe through your nose the whole way. Let no agenda ride along — no podcast, no problem-solving. Notice the moment your shoulders drop; that is your nervous system unlocking the week's grip. The body remembers what the calendar forgets, and it only files in stillness.
