Saturday MorningThe Repair
You cannot sharpen the blade with the same motion you use to cut. Repair is its own discipline.
The Practice
Choose one thing this morning that has quietly frayed during the week — a sleep debt, a meal skipped, a friend unanswered — and repair only that. Do it slowly and completely, not as a task to clear but as a system to restore. The body keeps the ledger of every week you ran it past its limit. Saturday is when you pay down one line of that debt, before it compounds into the kind that costs a whole month.
