Saturday MorningThe Tide Out
Rest is not the reward for the week. It is the half of the cycle that makes the other half possible — the tide must go out before it can come back in with force.
The Practice
This morning, let the tide go all the way out: nothing to achieve, nothing to optimise, no proof to produce. Move slowly, eat without rushing, let an hour have no purpose. Notice the part of you that panics at stillness and stay with it gently until it settles. The force you bring back to the week is built entirely in the emptiness you allow now.
